3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:
- Delivering and improving the content and functionality of the Site

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, ever. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Our legal basis for processing your data (where GDPR applies) is: legitimate interests (for analytics and Site improvement), consent (for newsletter subscription and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (where required by law).
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted providers who help us operate the Site, such as email delivery services and analytics platforms. These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

5. Third-Party Services
This Site integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect data about you independently under their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google collects usage data and may associate it with your Google account if you are signed in. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts: We use Google Fonts to display typography. When the fonts load, your browser sends a request to Google's servers, which logs your IP address. No persistent cookies are set by Google Fonts. See the Google Fonts Privacy FAQ.
- Amazon Associates: When you click an affiliate link to Amazon.com, Amazon may place cookies on your device to track any subsequent purchase for commission attribution. Data collected on Amazon.com is governed by Amazon's Privacy Notice.
- Pexels: Article and section images are served from Pexels' content delivery network. Pexels may log requests including IP addresses. No marketing cookies are set by Pexels on this Site. See Pexels' Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or behavioural retargeting services.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Newsletter subscribers: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion of your data

- Analytics data: Retained in aggregate, anonymised form per Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months for user-level data)

When data is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
