About WiseGoodness

WiseGoodness translates peer-reviewed health research into plain, usable guidance — across women's health, longevity, metabolic health and health technology. We're evidence-based, we cite our sources, and we're transparent about who writes and reviews what you read here.

What we cover

We focus on four areas that compound over a lifetime: women's health (hormonal and reproductive health through every life stage), longevity (the science of healthspan, not just lifespan), metabolic health (blood sugar, insulin sensitivity and the habits that drive them), and health technology (wearables, biomarkers and diagnostics — with the hype removed).

How we research

"Trust us" isn't a method, so here's ours:

Who writes and reviews this

Articles are written by Michael Thomassen, our Health & Nutrition Writer, and reviewed for accuracy by Nicolas Aubineau before they're published. We use real names and accountable bylines — WiseGoodness is a small, independent team, not an anonymous content mill. We don't claim clinical credentials we don't hold; what we offer is careful, well-sourced, plainly-written research summaries.

Educational — not medical advice

This is important: everything on WiseGoodness is for information and education only. It is not medical advice, it has not been evaluated by the FDA, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It's meant to make your conversation with a qualified professional better-informed — never to replace it. Always speak with your doctor or a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet, supplements, medication or health routine.

How we stay independent

WiseGoodness participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program: if you buy through some of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That helps fund the research and writing — it never changes what we recommend, and we don't accept payment to feature or rank a product. Every affiliate relationship is disclosed.

Corrections & contact

We get things wrong sometimes, and accuracy matters more to us than being right the first time. If you find an error or an out-of-date recommendation, please tell us and we'll fix it. You can reach us via our contact section.
